Stilt Camp is back!!! A circus lovers dream weekend in nature! Hosted and instructed by House of Cirque. 3 days of workshops, playing, and camping in the beautiful Coconino National Forrest. CAMPING: BYOE (Bring your own everything). Tent, food, water, workout clothing, and stilts (if have). The camping grounds offer trash pick up, camping grills, picnic tables, and vault toilet restrooms.

NEW LOCATION: Moqui Group Campground (in Spooner pod) at Coconino National Forrest in the Mongolian Rim District. Within 75 minutes of Flagstaff, 2 1/2 hours from Phoenix. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/coconino/recreation/camping-cabins/recarea/?recid=54930&actid=33 Moqui Group Campground consists of three sites/pods, Simmons, Spooner, and Ernst. They are located off FR 138, approximately one mile from Arizona State Route 87 (milepost 298.8). This group campground is approximately 40 miles southwest of Winslow, 50 miles northeast of Payson and 70 miles southeast of Flagstaff, in a beautiful setting surrounded by mature ponderosa pine, oak, and quaking aspen. The elevation at the campground is 6,970 feet.

 

MONDAY STILT CLASS 730pm

UPDATE NEW CLASS TIME 730pm-830pm.  This dynamic class teaches numerous skills such as stilt walking, stilt dancing, acrobatic stilts, aerial stilts, and group performance.  All levels and ages welcome. $20 drop in, class cards discounts available . SIDE SHOW SCHOOL
Let your freak flag fly! Students will be introduced to bed of nails, glass dancing, strait jacket escape, glass eating, human blockheading, human bulletin boarding, and other side show favorites! Push boundaries further with each class. 18+ only, 10 student max.

You’re going to huff and puff and blow huge fireballs in the sky! Become a real life dragon and learn to eat, breath, and play with fire. For experienced and newbies. All levels welcome.   18+ only, 10 student max.

Learn to walk on stilts! It’s fun for the whole family. No experience necessary. Stilts provided for class use. Dress comfortably, pants suggested, and athletic closed toed shoes. All Ages (under 18 with legal guardian).

 

STILT WALKING,  New to stilts? This a great class for mastering the fundamentals, building confidence, and increasing strength while having fun playing with others. Learn safety techniques, how to walk on stilts, how to fall safely, how to get back up again, how to conquer stairs with and without hands, and other skills beneficial to maintaining a healthy stilt practice. No experience needed. Beginners & All levels welcome.

 

STILT DANCE, Kick up your peg legs in this booty shaking class. Learn fun dance moves, footwork, spins, partner dances, lifts, choreography, and improvisation. No dance experience. Prerequisite: Able to walk on stilts unassisted.

 

STILT ACROBATICS, Play upside down and right side up. Acrobatics and stilts are infused in this fun and physically rewarding class. Learn how to share balance, fly and base other stilters, headstands, group sculptures, lifts, use poles to assist with movement, and choreography. Prerequisite: Able to walk on stilts unassisted.
